  • As part of my service I  periodically tweet out market stats (such as breadth and what I am seeing etc)  throughout the day. This morning I mentioned the bifurcation in the market as breadth was lower, SPX was moving lower (even taking out the lows of the day at one point), VIX was higher and yet social media, some tech and financial stocks were either rallying or holding. I referenced a similar thing that happened last week except it was the biotech and financials holding up.
  • The information helped me decide to continue to stay long and take some long trades.
  • I was able to catch a really nice move in LNKD and MNST. GOOGL I am still holding and underwater.
  • For now I am staying long until evidence tells me not to, but since I still have that overarching anxiety that is very prevalent, I will continue to keep myself in check.
  • Note that “they” say (I don’t know who they is) that the market puts in a low the Thursday or Friday before options expiration. So perhaps the weakness is looming in the next few days and will be a BTD moment.

  • Tweet of the day: Someone was close to getting me to laugh, but didn’t happen. Once again, that is better from the standpoint of being a bull.

  • Last night I posted to my subscribers that the puts were building up in GS. In the past this has tended to be bullish for the overall market in general so keep an eye on those financials.GS.6.9
  • I’m currently watching futures drift higher which of course I like. But we know that doesn’t mean a whole lot right now. Still though, nice to see when it’s going your way right?
